About us

Run by Julia Lawrence, LC was started in November of 2021,  but the dream of creating this brand began long before that. I always knew I wanted to design fashion and own a brand. 

As time went on and I began to appreciate clothing more and more, I found my love for thrifting vintage and secondhand clothing. After thrifting my own wardrobe for years that’s when I created lawrence citizen. 

I knew I always wanted LC to be more than vintage clothing, this last year I attended fashion design school. I was first introduced to sewing in high school but I was eager to learn proper finishes to create proper fitting garments.

Learning about how devastating the fashion industry is to the environment, grew a new goal of having a sustainable brand. I have kept our packaging to minimal while still working to give you guys a special experience. Our mailers are completely  recyclable. The Mini Skort collection is handmade myself - currently accepting pre orders to eliminate over production. 

I can’t wait for all the exciting things I have planned for lawrence citizen, thanks for all the support we’ve received so far. It truly means the world.
